STYLE 1 drain plug fits our old style coolers which have vertical looking bars on the inside of the cooler lid (cooler drain plug inlet hole is 1.14" or 29.13mm).
STYLE 2 drain plug fits our new style coolers which have a Hooked logo on the inside of the cooler lid (cooler drain plug inlet hole is 1.37" or 34.72mm).
The certain drain plug style will ONLY work for the drain plug inlet hole you have, you cannot interchange Style 1 and Style 2 drain plugs.

The drain plug on my cooler went missing a few months ago. I'm not sure if it went missing before, during, or after my last fishing trip. After noticing, I immediately went to the Hooked website to look for a replacement. The style I need was out of stock and stayed that way for some time. When I saw it became available, I placed my order. The shipping was quick and the fit is perfect. Im glad to have a drain plug for my cooler again.

Shipping very fast, cooler well constructed and lots of nice extras. Only issue was I had to get a cooler color that I didn’t choose! I needed it for a fishing tournament and couldn’t wait till some time in January. Hopefully it will be a great cooler 🙏
Such a great purchase. I lost my original drain plug which was still working great. I was able to order a new one with ease. I had the first gen cooler so I made sure I ordered the correct drain plug, as the company probably changed them in the newest version of the cooler.
The drain plug itself was black with a white rubber gasket which felt very durable. Would definitely buy again if I lose the drain plug. As for now the one I ordered will do. Shipping was just as much as the plug which was a bummer!
Hooked Coolers offer 2 different sizes of plugs. On their website it is hard to determine which one is the right plug per the size of cooler. Study the latches, the latches will tell your customer which replacement plug to purchase? One can only make this decission by visually matchi
Drain plug is good. I dropped it in the water while draining the cooler. Maybe some sort of tether on the plug could prevent this. Especially if you lose one at the beginning of a trip, you are hosed. Luckily ours was at the end.

I purchased a Hook 50. It did not come with a drain plug, so I contacted customer service. Within a week, I received the drain plug without question ask. The build of this cooler is solid and will last me for many fishing seasons and back yard parties.
